Today, we’re thrilled to announce the eagerly anticipated launch dates and details for our CARBO v2 token and the revamped CleanCarbon platform.
Launch Dates
Both the new token and platform are set to launch on Sunday, April 14th. We will provide the exact times as the launch day approaches.
Launch Process
At launch, we will release the new address and instructions for converting CARBO v1 to CARBO v2. This conversion will occur through smart contract interactions, which will retire the old CARBO tokens and issue an equivalent amount of CARBO v2 tokens. The conversion ratio will be 1:1, though users will incur minimal gas fees for the transaction.
We aim for a fair launch, ensuring that everyone receives the new token address and conversion instructions simultaneously. Therefore, we urge everyone to stay tuned for the official announcements on April 14th.
Liquidity Transfer
A few hours before the launch, we will withdraw CARBO v1 liquidity from PancakeSwap and transfer it to a new liquidity pair: CARBO / USDT.
This decision supports our commitment to the Binance BSC ecosystem, facilitating a seamless transition for our community. We’re moving from BUSD to USDT due to the upcoming discontinuation of BUSD by Paxos. We remain confident in the longevity of Binance as an exchange and BSC as a network, and we will continue to monitor for any changes that may affect the CleanCarbon project.
The liquidity will be completely transferred to the new pair, with 100% of CARBO v1 tokens and all converted BUSD to USDT added to the CARBO v2 liquidity pool.
New CleanCarbon Platform
Immediately following the liquidity swap, we will launch our new platform, introducing several new features.
At launch, the platform will offer three staking packages, airdrops, contests, and other functionalities, with more features to be added gradually to enhance token utility and user experience.
Details about staking rewards, airdrops, and other community incentives will be announced closer to the launch, allowing everyone ample time to plan their participation strategy.
Marketing
In line with the token launch, we have planned marketing campaigns to attract new users to our ecosystem. However, these efforts will be measured, as we prefer to focus our limited resources on direct rewards for token holders rather than on expansive campaigns. More information about our marketing plans will be shared this Sunday and discussed further in our Telegram groups.
What YOU Need to Do
We’ve designed the launch to be as straightforward and user-friendly as possible. CARBO holders will need to convert their CARBO v1 tokens to CARBO v2 through a simple interaction with our Smart Contract. Detailed instructions will be provided shortly. Please note, there’s no immediate rush to convert your tokens, as the conversion smart contract will remain active indefinitely.
